ideal spot for walking to city landmarks and parks
I found the room to be clean and a great size, which made our stay enjoyable, and with a short stroll, we reached the charming Exhibition Park, just 1.5 km away, perfect for a leisurely walk to unwind after exploring the city. plus, the staff were very helpful in making our visit pleasant. As a weekend traveler, I really appreciated the choice of local restaurants just a few steps away, which made dining options very convenient, but the bar downstairs was a bit noisy until late.

Room 403 provided ample space and a large, comfortable bed, making for a restful night despite being above a busy bar. The shower was excellent, and the fluffy towels added a nice touch. On the downside, the rate of £130 per night felt steep for a basic offering, and the lack of adequate toiletries was a minor inconvenience. Breakfast options were also not mentioned during check-in.

Spacious family rooms with comfortable beds and large TVs offered a relaxing environment. Unique in-room amenities like the mini fridge stocked with water, juices, and Kit Kats made for a thoughtful touch during the stay.
Noise from nearby bars can really disrupt sleep, especially at night, making it less suitable for families or anyone seeking quiet.

would definitely visit it again
The hotel is in a buzzing area with easy access to several restaurants and bars. My room had a flat-screen TV, mini fridge stocked with snacks, and free toiletries. The bathroom was modern, and I loved the shower. There’s a lively bar on-site, which added to the atmosphere. Basic continental breakfast was included, which I appreciated.

The fridge in the room was a nice touch, stocked with cold drinks and snacks, and the bathroom was spotless, which made for a comfortable stay. I really enjoyed relaxing at the bar and taking advantage of the free continental breakfast. it was just what I needed to start my day. One small downside was that the parking was a bit limited, so arriving early could be a good idea. 😊

Limited parking availability is a hassle!!! Noise from the bar is unforgiving late at night!!! Cleaning standards in bathrooms must improve to enhance the overall experience!!!

Mate, those fresh cream cakes in the lounge were proper lush! Plus, the bustling vibe around the Carlton had me buzzing. I even found some cracking eateries like Pizza Express and Billabong Bistro just a stone's throw away.
On the flip side, the noise from the bar below can be a right bother, and the soundproofing needs a bit of work to save your ears from the boisterous revelers.

Recommend it for families with children
We had a family room that was surprisingly spacious, and it came stocked with juice and Kit Kats in the fridge, which was a nice touch. The staff were friendly, they welcomed us and even offered the little one an extra biscuit when we checked in.
Pricey for what you get, but still within reason.
